This activity includes a song and interactive notebook file. Children sing the song then click on the windows in the house. What can they hear? Use the erase tool to rub out the window and find out what all the noise is about!

This notebook file supports children in finding rhyming pairs, read out the phrase to the children and name the items. Which one rhymes? Children click on the rhyming item and if they're correct they will receive an noisy and visual reward!

Here children sing the song then select all the ingredients that rhyme, that sound the same to go into the dino soup and create a swamp soup! When they click on the arrow they can check they found all the things that rhymed then click on the pot to hear the swamp soup gurgle!

Use the smartboard resource to count presented sets of up to ten baubles, children select the correct number and are rewarded by a Christmas animation and sound effect. The word document with the large baubles, I make in to an interactive display, enlarge the tree to A3, laminate, cut out and laminate the baubles and attach with velcro, children can then dress the tree with their choosen amount of baubles. The other word document I use as a cut and stick activity for children which becomes a useful count assessment at the end of term.
